Only 10 more days until race day, Team Sadie. Details are here! (Who’s ready for lots of exclamation marks?!?!)

Race Shirts:
Our Team Sadie shirts will be in our hands by the end of the week! You should be able to start picking them up from us on Monday. We’ll let you know the where and when as soon as we know.

The Expo is back at the Baltimore Convention Center again this year. The Expo opens at NOON (change from past years). It will run until 8pm on Thursday 10/10 and until 9pm on Friday 10/11. This is where you will pick-up your race packet with your bib, race shirt, and bag o’ goodies. THERE IS NO PACKET PICK-UP ON RACE DAY. We encourage everyone to attend the Expo! It is a very fun and motivating atmosphere with lots of free stuff, great merchandise and cool vendors!!

Packet Pick-Up:
Everyone will receive an email next Tuesday 10/8, with their E-Registration Card. You MUST have this E-Card printed out or on your smart phone to go to the Expo. You are authorized to pick-up your packet and only one other’s persons packet (not including children). Relay teams can have one person pick-up all four packets.
A fabulous and fantastic benefit of running with Sadie’s Gift, is that we can pick up your packet for you! We will be picking up packets at a special, charity-only picking-uping party before the Expo starts on Thursday. If you would like us to pick-up your packet, YOU MUST FORWARD YOUR E-REGISTRATION CARD TO US BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT 10/9. Once we have your packet, you can pick it up at our house in Ellicott City or at the tent before the race.

Due to the tragedy at the Boston Marathon, security will be heightened and very present this year. Our hospitality tent is located in Charity Village outside Ravens Stadium (same location as last year). In order to access Celebration Village, all runners and spectators must pass the security checkpoint. Expect delays getting to/from the buses, start/finish lines, runners village, vendors, stage, etc. Good news: No clear bags needed to check your bags at the Team Sadie tent. No security hassles to get to the Team Sadie tent. Aren’t you glad you signed up to run with Team Sadie?!?

What the heck are all these “Villages” you keep talking about?:

What’s the timeline for race day?
We’re so glad you asked! We will be sending out two more emails: one about shirt pick-up and another with the Team Sadie specific race day timeline. Please make sure to check twitter and facebook for updates in between. We post some very informative and often witty bits to keep you in-the-know.

Fundraising: (you didn’t think we’d forget to mention it, did you?)
We are still accepting donations! :) Remember, you have until one week after the race to meet you fundraising commitment. Remember to support your favorite runner or set up your page by clicking HERE!
